Flowers built for one person, not pulled off a shelf
ONY designs custom flower arrangements in Salt Lake City, built to your colors, your occasion, and your budget. A custom arrangement is the opposite of a catalog order. Instead of picking a photo and hoping, you tell us the palette, the mood, or the exact stems you want, and we design it that day and deliver it across the Wasatch Front. Most days we can deliver same-day if you order before noon.
The difference from a bouquet is simple. A custom arrangement is designed straight into a vase with water, so it's ready to set down the moment it arrives. The vessel is part of the gift and the recipient keeps it. If you'd rather send a hand-tied bunch they arrange themselves, see our flower bouquets instead.
What you can order
- The Gesture — our petite custom design, from $75.
- The Statement — a grand custom design, from $150.
- A custom palette or mood — romantic, architectural, wild, or a single color story.
- Specific stems — peonies, ranunculus, protea, and more, sourced to order when the season allows.
- Your own vase — bring a cherished vessel to the studio and we'll design into it.
- A pet-safe build — tell us there are pets and we'll skip anything toxic.
Why Salt Lake City chooses ONY
- We're local, not a wire service. We design and deliver in the valley ourselves.
- We run a lean inventory and buy for your order, so your flowers were cut days, sometimes hours, ago.
- We use sustainable mechanics like chicken wire and pin frogs instead of floral foam.
- You can ask for a Bloom Preview photo before it leaves the studio.
- Every stem is intentional — we don't pad with filler unless you want it. Need a matching table centerpiece? We do those too.
How to order
- 1. Tell us what you want to say. The occasion, the colors, the mood, and any must-have flowers. We'll talk through what's realistic for your budget.
- 2. We source it. We hit the market that day for the hero blooms, leaning on local Utah farms when the season allows.
- 3. We design and preview. We build it into a vessel and, if you ask, send a Bloom Preview photo before it leaves.
- 4. We deliver. Order before noon for same-day. Prefer to plan it out? Call (970) 708-4682.
Custom arrangement pricing
Custom arrangements start at $75 for The Gesture, our petite design, and $150 for The Statement, a grand one. That opening price buys a generous count of premium stems and a quality vessel — not a base padded with filler. Standard Salt Lake City delivery is $15. Farther areas like Park City or deep South Jordan run roughly $35 to $50, based on distance from our studio. For a one-off design or a residential install, call us and we'll quote it.
Standing arrangements and home installs
Custom design isn't only for gifts. We set up weekly arrangements for offices and dining tables, and we'll visit your space to design a larger install for an entryway or mantel. You can put any of it on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly subscription. Planning an event or a wedding? Start with our wedding flowers page. For care, keep blooms out of direct sun and away from vents, and change the water daily — the Old Farmer's Almanac flower guide has more on individual flowers. New in town? Custom Arrangement FAQs
How far ahead should I order a custom arrangement?
Twenty-four hours is ideal, because it lets us source the exact stems for your design. But life moves fast, so we'll do our best to fill same-day requests placed before noon using the fresh flowers we have that day.
Can I choose the specific flowers in my arrangement?
Yes. Custom means built for you. Give us a color palette, a mood, or specific stems like peonies, ranunculus, or protea, and we'll source them. If a flower is out of season, we'll call you and match the color, shape, and value with something fresh.
Do custom arrangements come in a vase?
Yes. Unlike a hand-tied bouquet, a custom arrangement is designed straight into a vessel with water, so it's ready to set down on arrival. We have a range of vases, from modern ceramic to vintage glass, that the recipient keeps.
Can I see a photo before it's delivered?
Yes, we call it the Bloom Preview. Ask for it when you order and we'll text or email a photo of the finished arrangement before it leaves the studio, so you see exactly what's going out the door.
Is there a delivery fee?
Yes, based on distance from our studio. Standard Salt Lake City delivery is $15. Farther spots like Park City or deep South Jordan run roughly $35 to $50. We deliver on Saturdays; Sunday is by appointment or for scheduled events.
Can you make a pet-safe arrangement?
Yes. Some common flowers, like lilies, are toxic to cats. Tell us the recipient has pets and we'll use only non-toxic, pet-safe stems without making the design any less beautiful.
